Art should open your eyes and mind. The artist’s responsibility is to give their audience something worth owning and to remember that people are intelligent and insightful: art doesn’t become art just because the artist says so. It’s not enough to hang something in a gallery and light it up well to turn it into art. True art nurtures the soul of the viewer.
